The Field of Possibilities

 Pure Expression & Humour

With Didier Danthois

This year the theme of the retreat is “The Field of Possibilities”. As winter draws in, the summer sun draws out. Mother nature takes us within that we may find fresh inspirations for the year to come.

In today's fast and aggressive world, it is not so easy to know where and how to find fulfillment, peace or to simply touch the Wonder of Being. There are so many distractions on the way to “coming home” to our inner space. Rumi reminds us so beautifully in his poem how to create this inner space full of possibilities. Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field. I’ll meet you there.”

Thank you to all the participants for making it possible!

A warm thank you to all the participants who came!

Some testimonials from the participants:

I found Didier a beautiful funny man  accompanied by Sara and was delighted by his teachings. I loved that I did not have to speak but could absorb and communicate and explore through my body in silence. This all happened despite difficult group dynamics, and I was pleased to come along on Sunday morning and find in addition the benevolent energy of Glen exercising on the floor. I especially liked the singing and touching cheeks with Sara in the ending.”  Alice

I took away so much from this two day course. I felt like I was able to connect with myself and explore my inner clown through physical exercises, learning specific breathing techniques and Raga singing. The clown exercises and work with red noses gave us the opportunity to look at different emotions and the world of our inner clown. The environment during this course was one of acceptance and nourishment. This allowed participants to flourish and be bold in expressing themselves and revealing their clown. It was also a great privilege to watch Didier and Sara work together..”  Becky

The Fool will walk us to the edge, beckoning us to play with the world and to discover a treasure in a grain of sand. The Fool liberates us from the shadows of old habits and fear of the unknown, helping us to embody the Sacred Clown as a way to awaken to the Wisdom of Innocence.

This art form combines the practice of mindfulness with mime, clowning, dance and singing.

"I feel very thankful to those moments of openness, fearlessness, playfulness, creativity and joy and that everybody of the group was in this quality of natural BEING." Monika W. (Nov. 2016)

A beautiful gathering of sacred clowns. Thank you all.

Here's what some of the participants said about this training:

The care and attention of Didier this week helped me to reconnect with my inner soul again: - from a very angry and isolated condition I was helped to feel again the joy of being alive. The grounding exercises were fundamental, to listen to my soul and be able to appreciate the clown in me. I treasure the moments shared this week – from deep human connection to pure bliss and magic. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”  Eugenia

“Exploring clowning here this week has been a wonderful way to put the learning into practice and a great mirror showing me when I am connected and present and when I am not. It has been a great learning tool and so much fun! I really have enjoyed this exploration of connecting with myself and others through clowning and have experienced and learned much from it all……" (for more see "Testimonials") Maureen

“It opened my eyes so much to clowning, that how one can teach it, learn it, use it, practice it, heal within it. My love for clowning has deepened..."

It seems that the timing for this workshop was perfect, we arrived together as a group very rapidly. People were simply very present and open to what was introduced, which lead us to experience together some precious moments of play, singing and healing with a little bridge to the stars. We could just take off with the "wonder" and innocense of the Sacred Clown. Thank you for your trust.

“My heart is so touched by the weekend workshop with you. It has already brought/shaken a new freedom into my life and my spiritual practice, an initiaton." Janey Varney

"I had a very healing time throughout - with intimacy, with the story I tell about myself, with how I feel about my body, with how I approach other people (often with fear, but you showed me what it's like to approach people with true love). Thank you for all of this, I feel profoundly moved still. I have been dipping a toe into meditation for a few years, with great resistance, but feel as if I have found a new way into mindfulness and meditation that excites me.Belinda Sherlock

"I loved the connections I made with our group, so simple yet utterly profound. Finding intimacy with such acceptance and compassion is the gift I take away from the weekend." Rachel Rogers
